Memories of life in the travelling community

By Paul Evans

Marie, who was resident in Charter Court at the time this interview was conducted in 2013, reminisces with Gwynne Brown.  She was born in Sandhurst as a member of the Brazil family, and recounts incidents from her life as a traveller with great humour. At the same time, she also recalls the violence that could erupt at times within the travelling community.  Marie sings two songs in the final clip.
