Flooding in Moor St

Moor Street, May 19th 1924 the day the River Twyver broke its banks.  The house on extreme right is no 24 Moor Street where my grandparents Christopher and Annie Jefferies lived.  The man at fence with cap is Mr Jenkins, the one holding child possibly Mr Beard, next Mr Coopey. On the left the iron railings would be the 2 houses on the corner of Albany St opposite Chritchley Shop, further up center left is the Cotswold Stone 'Gothic Villas' where another family of Tranters lived.  The wall with the writing is the first building (shop) in Adelaide St; alongside this shop was a narrow passage that led to the allotments.  Next to the shop in Moor St lived the Prosser family and center of picture again is the corner of Vicarage Rd.
