A Heritage Lottery funded project centred on St James' Church requires a project administrator

By Paul Evans

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support a team of volunteers delivering a Heritage Lottery funded community project based around the parish of St James in the Barton and Tredworth area of the City of Gloucester.  The project will collect oral reminiscence and scan heritage material from residents within the parish, and particularly those connected with the Church and its CofE School.  Five full or part day events are planned to publicise and celebrate the project.  You will co-ordinate the activities of the volunteers, organise and attend meetings of the project steering group, and assist with the planning and delivery of the project events.

This would suit someone who is an efficient organiser, who possesses excellent inter-personal skills and has experience of administering effective accounting procedures.  You should be familiar with basic IT packages, and be willing to be flexible about the day worked each week.  You will report to the Vicar of St James, who is the project leader.

Hours and pay – 7 hours per week at £8.00 per hour
