  • Wednesday 7th September
  • ·         6-8pm
  • ·         City Works, Alfred Street, Gloucester, GL1 4DF
  • ·         Light refreshments provided

A community led meeting bringing organisations together around a common goal; for residents of Barton & Tredworth to be active every day!

Who is invited?

  • ·         Any community, voluntary or statutory organisations working within the area
  • ·         Individuals or groups who offer activity relating to sport, activity, health and wellbeing
  • ·         Leaders of facilities, venues or community spaces
  • ·         Service providers for families, children, young people, and older adults including children centres and schools
  • ·         Community residents are welcome to attend but we will hopefully be using this as a starter to look at how we can actively involve the whole community in these discussions

The aim of the session is to:

  • ·         Understand what is currently on offer
  • ·         Understand the strengths and assets of the area
  • ·         Share thoughts and ideas about the long
  • ·         Consider how we better work together to make positive change
  • ·         Consider how we work with residents and what the next steps are

We are asking for those who attend to bring information with them on activities, sessions or opportunities that are available to residents; from babies to care homes, for individuals and families, including things that cost and things that are free, facilities and spaces, we want to look at it all!

Please confirm attendance by Monday 5th September.

Many thanks,

Kirsty Dunleavy
